Much Ado About Nothing
By William Shakespeare
28th - 30th June 2012, 7.30pm
at The Manor House Gardens, Solihull
Hero, the daughter of the Governor of Messina and Claudio, a Count of Florence, fall in love and decide to marry. As they prepare for the wedding, they conspire with a kindly Prince, Don Pedro, to set what they call a 'lover's trap' for Benedick and Beatrice, citizens of the court.
Meanwhile, the evil Don Jon conspires to break up the wedding of Hero and Claudio by accusing Claudio of infidelity. Will the wedding go ahead as planned and will Beatrice and Benedick find love together?
"They say the lady is fair. Tis a truth, I can bare them witness. By my troth, it is no addition to her wit - nor no great argument of her folly, for I will be horribly in love with her"
