Joan Littlewood’s theatrical masterpiece, Oh What A Lovely War is brought to life by award-winning local theatre group Union Theatre.

This wildly satirical sensation of a show is packed full of timeless songs, taking audiences on a journey through the folly, farce and tragedy of the First World War.

Filled with sketches, vignettes and much-loved songs, this hilarious yet heart-breaking production holds a mirror up to society, unravelling military incompetence and the unimaginable disregard for human life.

Visually stunning and deeply moving, yet hilarious in equal measure, expect a riot of music, colour and larger-than-life characters in a show that revolutionised modern theatre.
